Why would you have a rehearsal for a sing-along? Can’t you just show up and sing?

Absolutely! We just want to make sure that those who come to sing along have something to sing along to! A number of people would like a chance to get more familiar with singing the Messiah so on the day of the event they can enjoy it more and help others do the same.

Rehearsal Dates

Sunday, August 18, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Sunday, September 8, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Sunday, October 13, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

These rehearsals will all take place at Indy Vineyard Church, 8383 Craig Street, Indianapolis. Come in the door near the Tidewind lawn sign.

Prayer Time

The best way to ensure a successful performance of the Messiah is to spend some time with the Messiah Himself!  If you are able to come a little early, join us between 1:30 and 2:00 to spend some time together in prayer.  

There will also be a rehearsal on Sunday, November 10 from 2:00 – 5:00 pm for us to run through the whole program. Location for that rehearsal is at Lawrence United Methodist Church, 5200 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46226

• Bring a copy of the Messiah score with you. You can order one on Amazon, or download a free copy to your phone or tablet here.
• If you would like to audition for a solo part, please send an email to questions@tidewind.org so we can schedule you. We are still determining which pieces will be solo and which will be sung by a vocal section, but feel free to share one of your favorites with us!
